My brother and his husband brought me to this little gem on New Year’s Eve. It was my first time here and I LOVED the decor, service and food. They offer daily specials and you will not be disappointed. 🤤 They even had Barq’s Root Beer in a bottle. ❤️

First time in Nola. Drove from Kansas City and this was the first place we found near our hotel; boy am I glad we did!! Staff was friendly and interactive before we even walked in the door. Food was phenomenal!! Good portions too ☺️

Had a wonderful first meal at Bonnie C's the other night for Lundi Gras! Staff was very friendly and attentive too. Their special, red beans and rice with a corn muffin and porkchop was spectacular and very moderately priced! My friend got the chicken tenders and was also very pleased with how fresh they tasted with good seasoning as well. Chocolate cake for dessert was the cherry on top! So glad to have finally found a good restaurant on the north shore after many mediocre experiences elsewhere! Will be returning!!

The Gumbo was PERFECTION! Dark Brown Roux, plenty of crawfish, seasoned so well! Catfish Dinner was delicious too! Fresh tasting with nice crispy coating. Great service!

Best service and food! I absolutely love their daily specials. Everyone is so friendly and happy to take care of you. I've tried practically everything on their menu and haven't found anything I didn't love! Check them out I promise you won't be sorry! Yummy

Hot, home cooking. Casual atmosphere, great for families. The service is wonderful — they remember you when you come in and give a big welcome.

Bonnie C's is a local gem among the detritus of chain restaurants that litter Slidell's culinary thoroughfare. They have some of the very best red beans & rice I've ever eaten. Their pork chop is cooked low and slow, so it just melts in your mouth. Plus, in this age of greedflation on top of inflation, Bonnie C's hasn't changed its very reasonable prices. You really can't find a tastier meal with such great value anywhere.

The Jambalaya Pasta is sooo delicious. The seafood in the pasta is fresh and of a good size. I'd definitely order this again and again.

The food arrived quickly, and it was still hot. There are pieces of sausage in the beans and rice as well as two pieces of sausage on the side in the container with the cornbread. The cornbread is fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend Bonnie C's for their red beans and rice with meat.
